No special preparation is required, though we recommend washing your hair the night before (without applying oils, gels, or sprays) so the electrodes can make good contact with your scalp. Our technician will carefully attach electrodes to your scalp using a mild adhesive paste and record your brain's activity over the test period, which may include specific tasks like opening/closing your eyes or breathing exercises as instructed. Once the recording is complete, the electrodes are gently removed and your data is reviewed.
